Information
At the Justice Access Centre, we know that you may be able to solve your own problems and legal issues with easy access to the right legal information. Everyone is welcome to ask us for information and use our self-help resource room. Here, you can do it yourself or take advantage of one-on-one help from our staff, who can show you how to use the resources such as booklets, videos, and websites. You can also meet with a resource counsellor to discuss your situation. If we don't have all the information you need, we'll refer you to resources outside the centre that can help you.
We're here to help you with family and civil law issues, including:
- divorce and separation
- custody and access
- child or spousal support
- child protection matters
- income security
- housing
- employment
- money and debt
- immigration
- human rights
- consumer issues
- health and elder law
- wills and estates
We also have services that are specifically for helping Aboriginal people with their legal issues.
